The Personal Sushi Chef Experience

Sushi is an art form, and for Toshio Oguma, who was the executive sushi chef at Morimoto, his restaurant Tanoshi reflects this. The tiny ten-seat restaurant offers a chef’s choice menu of sushi made with the freshest fish on the market, and all for about $50 a meal. The sushi is so good you don’t even need soy sauce.

Celebrate The Great Gatsby

The Plaza Hotel was a real-life hang out for Fitzgerald, and has an important role in The Great Gatsby, so a tributary Fitzgerald Suite seems only natural. Guests can stay in the art deco suite adorned with historical photographs of Fitzgerald and his wife and read his entire works or watch films and documentaries about the author. The Plaza also curated a menu meant to give you a taste of the 1920's, including a tea time meal of scones and Deviled Quail Egg Salad. And, of course, a decadent champagne bar at The Rose Club featuring Gatsby Hour every Wednesday and Thursday with live jazz music for a roarin' good time.
