Neighborhood Architecture

New York City is in constant conflict between old and new, but in the case of architecture the clash is always exciting. The East Harlem School, designed by GLUCK+, presents a reimagining of architecture and space. Not only is the building a beautiful example of modern design, it also demonstrates the importance between space and functionality, blurring the lines between hallways and classrooms to encourage learning and interaction throughout the school.
